I build websites from the ground up. Every project I've taken on — from corporate consulting sites to performing arts organizations to personal brands — has been prototyped, coded, styled, and deployed by me. I handle the full stack: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, hosting, DNS, SEO. The goal is always the same: make it look good, make it work well, and make it easy for anyone to maintain.

My approach starts with understanding the business and its audience, then moves through prototyping, development, and iteration.

My Process

Research & Information Architecture

Every web project starts with understanding what needs to be communicated and to whom. I conduct stakeholder interviews, heuristic evaluations of existing sites, and competitive analysis to define the site's information architecture before writing a line of code.

Prototyping & Development

I sketch layouts on paper, then move to Balsamiq or Figma for mid-fidelity wireframes. Once the structure is approved, I code everything by hand — building out the file structure, creating reusable templates, and writing clean, semantic HTML with responsive CSS. I integrate databases, build custom search and filtering tools, and create validated forms for lead generation.

Deployment & SEO

I handle hosting setup, DNS configuration, database migration, and SSL. After launch, I focus heavily on SEO — site audits, URL rewriting, metadata optimization, backlink preservation, and performance tuning. I've consistently achieved significant organic traffic increases across every site I've managed.
